Silk Road specializes in the transportation of commuter and light rail cars and articulating busses. Highly specialized equipment is utilized in these moves. Many of the advanced solutions developed for our customers are proprietary and have been developed from years of experience servicing the mass transit and specialized heavy-haul market. Silk Road has their own in-house design and machining operation for custom fabrication. Trailer foundations for the most specialized assets are custom designed and constructed where the acumen exists around the world. This includes time-definite delivery, ro-ro service, coordination of electricians and engineers at rail-side for pick-up and delivery activities, no damage, and equipment available on demand.
